Appellate Law

The Firm handles appeals and constitutional law issues for its clients. WLF | The Williams Lindberg Law Firm, PC® has several reported appellate opinions to its credit in the areas of government contract debarment, copyright, and criminal law. Its attorneys are admitted to practice before the United States, California, and Iowa Supreme Courts, the Eighth and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

One of these reported opinions was argued by Firm Founder J. Craig Williams as a Certified Practicing Law Clerk while a law student at the University of Iowa College of Law. He argued before the Iowa Court of Appeal and briefed the case to the Iowa Supreme Court, resulting in a victory for his client.

The Firm’s copyright opinion was the precursor to the now-famous Napster decision in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
